Inner Solace Counseling

Where Healing Meets Compassion

About Us

Inner Solace Counseling was created with one intention: to offer a warm, grounded, and deeply supportive space for individuals seeking meaningful healing. Our practice is designed around the belief that therapy should feel safe, compassionate, and empowering from the moment we start our work together.

We are proud to offer telehealth-only therapy, allowing clients across Wisconsin to access high-quality, evidence-based care from the comfort and privacy of their own home. This approach provides accessibility, convenience, and a sense of safety that many clients find essential to their healing process.

At Inner Solace Counseling, we value a therapeutic experience that is:

  • Human — rooted in empathy, connection, and understanding.

  • Evidence-Based — grounded in proven therapeutic practices that help clients build resilience and lasting change.

  • Inclusive — welcoming clients of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

  • Collaborative — where healing happens through partnership, autonomy, and individualized care.

Our clinic emphasizes a mind-body informed approach, encouraging clients to find balance, strength, and self-compassion throughout their therapeutic journey. We serve individuals navigating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, and challenges related to self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.

Most importantly, Inner Solace Counseling exists to be a calming refuge — a place where healing doesn’t feel rushed, clinical, or cold, but instead warm, thoughtful, and deeply supportive.

At Inner Solace Counseling, your healing has a home — wherever you are.

Meet Your Therapist

Haley Lemire, MS, LPC

Haley Lemire, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who brings warmth, compassion, and a deeply human approach to therapy sessions. With specialized experience in treating Eating Disorders, OCD, and Anxiety Disorders, she blends evidence-based practices like CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, and compassion-focused approaches to create treatment that feels both structured and genuinely supportive.

Before moving into outpatient therapy, Haley worked extensively across higher levels of care—including inpatient and residential programs—where she had the privilege of supporting individuals from a wide range of identities, cultures, and life experiences. These environments shaped her belief that therapy must be accessible, affirming, and tailored to the full complexity of the individual sitting across from her. She is also deeply committed to providing culturally affirming, LGBTQ+-affirming, and gender-affirming care, creating an environment where clients of all identities feel seen, respected, and supported.

Haley shows up with warmth, openness, and a deeply approachable presence. She brings in gentle humor when appropriate and works alongside clients rather than in front of them. When something important needs to be said, she shares it with clarity and kindness, helping clients feel both supported and challenged in meaningful ways. Many clients describe her as comforting, genuine, and someone they can be fully honest with. What drives Haley most is helping people reconnect with their values, unlearn old patterns that no longer serve them, and rebuild a life that feels meaningful and authentic to them.

Outside of her work, Haley finds joy in a life shared with her partner, their energetic Border Collie mix, Milo, and four sassy, affectionate cats who run the household. She loves unwinding with a good WNBA game and cheering on her favorite Wisconsin teams — the Bucks, Brewers, and Packers. Whether she’s spending time with her animals or watching sports and movies with her partner, Haley values connection, laughter, and all the small moments that make life feel full.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session focuses on getting to know you — your history, your concerns, and your goals for therapy. You'll never be pressured to share more than you're ready for. Together, you and Haley explore what brings you in and outline a treatment plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and empowering.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, Inner Solace Counseling is in the process of becoming credentialed with several insurance providers so we can offer more accessible care to our clients. Insurance credentialing is a multi-step process that varies by company and can take several weeks to complete. As each insurance panel approves our application, we will update this page so you always have the most accurate information.

We are currently working toward credentialing with: UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Medicaid - UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, Anthem / Blue Cross Blue Shield, Network Health, Chorus Community Health, WPS / The Alliance, and Centivo.

Do you offer self-pay?

While we work on credentialing with the insurance companies listed above, clients may choose self-pay, or—depending on your plan—we can provide a Superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance. If you have questions about your benefits, your out-of-network options, or whether sessions may be covered once credentialing is finalized, we are happy to help you navigate that process.

Where is your clinic located?

Inner Solace Counseling is a telehealth-only practice at this time, which means all sessions are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. This allows clients anywhere in Wisconsin to receive care from the comfort of their own space—with flexible scheduling and no commuting. Inner Solace Counseling has no physical office location at this time.

How often will we meet?

With most sessions being 50-55 minutes long, session frequency depends on your goals, symptoms, and schedule. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, then shift to bi-weekly or monthly as they gain confidence and progress.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Emergencies and illnesses are always handled with understanding and flexibility.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected - or simply want support while navigating change - therapy can help. Haley offers a safe, approachable space where healing doesn’t feel clinical or cold.

How do I get started?

Reach out through the contact form, email, or phone. Haley will guide you through scheduling, insurance questions, and the telehealth setup - don’t worry, she makes it easy.
